I adore ripped jeans. I’m not saying the ripper the better, but there’s just something fab about them when wore “correctly” (meaning ripped to whatever degree that suits you).
They are starting to become basics for my wardrobe. They can be paired with almost any top, shirt, sweater and it’ll look good! To me it adds an edgy and sexy touch to every outfit. Depending on the feel you’re going for, pair them with high heels, flats or sneakers – it all works!
I’m mostly into light colored denim, and among that category below are the 3 types I like:
- Long skinnys – this is classic, easy to match – sneakers, heels whatever you like. I don’t need to share how to wear this, I’m sure you already know 🙂
- Loose and high cut – this requires confidence! it doesn’t accentuate figure or anything like that, but it is so stylish! – super “in” this season. Just wear heels if you feel like it enlarges the bottom! (But make sure it’s pumps! Wedges won’t work here)
- Shorts – OK, jean shorts without rips is just like come on girl where are your fashion senses?! OK I’m joking but I really need rips in my light denim shorts haha
Honestly – if you don’t have a pair of ripped jeans – just rip it yourself! Be adventurous! 🙂
So lovelies, what’s your favorite type of jeans/ripped jeans?
My all time favorite pair of jeans is a pair of high waisted ripped boyfriend jeans. They’re absolutely hideous but they’re so comfortable and they’re so easy to throw on!

Don’t think they’d fit for work. But if you have casual Fridays you can pull off pants with conservative rips near the calves (: but not anywhere too high up

my workplace can be pretty casual but haven’t seen anybody yet with ripped jeans. but your idea is good. I’ll think about it 😊

I enjoy this post! It seems that denim/jeans is a hot topic right now!!
When you said; wear them ““correctly” (meaning ripped to whatever degree that suits you)” – I couldn’t have agreed more! Well said!
