Asymmetry

I love asymmetry in fashion. It can take form in dresses, tunics, skirts, coats and accessories. They add to an outfit a vibe that is artsy, edgy, trendy and youthful. Asymmetric dresses and tops are great because of their flexibility, they can layer over skinny jeans and leggings, or worn with shorts in warmer temperatures. My favorite asymmetric clothing piece is the famously flowy high-low skirt, and for accessories, instead of the traditional matching duo, I am much more into ones with uneven designs on each ear.

Here I’m embracing my favorite high-low with an interesting vertical line that’s both slimming and elongating. It took me exactly 1 second to decide on this purchase from Zara, it was a no-brainer as I loved everything about it – it’s grey, it has a short turtleneck, and it’s got side slits to the inner high-low tunic, an unique and worthwhile ensemble.
